Peer Group Consultation
Peer Group Consultation’s (PGC) goal is to build a supportive, clinically-grounded community for early-career licensed mental health professionals who are ready to grow independently in private practice as business owners. This is not ideal for graduate students nor associates under supervision.
PGC is founded by LaToya Ashley, PhD, LPC. Dr. LaToya has been in the mental health profession since 2015. Dr. LaToya is educated, trained, or certified in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Motivational Interviewing, Nurturing Parenting, and Prepare/Enrich. Dr. LaToya leads or co-facilitates counseling and skills group for grief, parenting, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy for a local community mental health agency. Dr. LaToya provides preceptorship for graduate students in clinical mental health counseling and social work programs.
Through professional development, peer consultation, and a safe, intimate community, Dr. LaToya helps clinicians strengthen their clinical and business development.
The group meets on 1st and 3rd Mondays at 9 pm (CST) via Zoom for 60 minutes. Monthly commitments are $60.
